What's
the set up,
the logistics, the form?
Primarily, coaching is done by phone.
I call you at a time we've pre-arranged.
It begins with
a free, initial
conversation in which we converse
and determine:
- if coaching
is right for you,
- if now is
the optimal time for you
to enter into coaching
- whether I'm
the right coach for you
- if group
or individual coaching would best suit your needs
- and, if it's
a "go", we then set a time for regular appointments.

A
minimum of three months of coaching is recommended , but shorter
and longer term arrangements are often considered.

About individual
coaching:
Generally coaching sessions are for 30 minutes, four times
each month, but the structure is flexible if changes are needed.
In addition
to scheduled appointments, I am also available for
brief "check in" calls between sessions and I will respond
to
any e-mail messages you send me.
Though each
session is based on your unique goals, needs
and wishes, a typical coaching session often encompasses
the following aspects:
- A brief reporting,
acknowledging and celebrating of your
successes, wins and insights since the last session
- Report on
the action steps you've completed since the
previous session
- Discuss what
you're currently working on, the challenges
you face, and how it's going
- Identify
the optimal next step(s) to move you more directly
and successfully toward your desires
- Determine
the information, connections, skills and strategies necessary
to implement the identified next step(s)
- Generate
an action plan for the week to follow

About group
coaching:
Group coaching also takes place by phone, on a special line
that permits multiple callers. Groups usually consist of 4-6
people, and take place 3-4 times each month for an hour each
session. Groups typically have a specific focus or topic, with
the participants sharing common goals and objectives. Groups
generally have a specific "term", with stated beginning
and end
dates which often(though not always) encompass three months.

to asking of yourself or having others ask of you.

What's
expected of me as a client?
Coaching is
a gift you give yourself, so
be ready and willing to receive
what you are offering yourself!
Be present, focused, and ready to work.
Most clients
hire a coach to accomplish several specific
goals and much of the time and focus is on these goals. Yet,
with coaching, don't be surprised if you discover new parts of
yourself or find your goals adjusting as you discover more
about who you really are. This discovery process is a natural,
organic process - yet
you
must be willing to let the personal and professional
growth happen.
You may be
asked to:
- Change your
behavior, a lot
- Examine some
of your current assumptions
- Experiment
and try new ideas, fresh approaches
- Redesign
how you spend your time
- Get support
you need to handle a problem
- Honestly
examine persistent internal and external
roadblocks
- Set goals
that are much, much bigger
- Raise your
personal or professional standards even
higher
- Start treating
yourself and other people much, much
better
- Stop tolerating
things about your life that shouldn't
and don't need to be tolerated
The
intent is to enable you to use
your unique gifts to more easily
reach your goals, live an integrated
and fulfilled personal and profes-
sional life, and enjoy life as it was
meant to be enjoyed. |

Coaching
calls aren't frivolous, but they needn't be intense in order to
produce the radical movement you know is possible. We'll laugh
at life, at how things evolve, at how obstacles that seemed impenetrable
sometimes turn to mush.You set the tone of the calls and I respect
and deliver what you need.

success coach, I

discover the needs, desires and wishes which authentically reflect
the true you (which
transforms your experience from an arduous endeavor to an eagerly
undertaken adventure)

in determining the next, best step toward your objectives (which
eliminates unnecessary
actions, simplifies the process and accelerates your trajectory)
- Support you
in remaining focused, energized and productive (so you experience
outstanding results
in a shorter amount of time!)

- I ask provocative
questions that assist you in more
clearly understanding yourself, your needs and your true
desires.
- I listen
carefully, beneath the symptoms of a situation, for
the source of the problem.
- I speak
directly, giving advice, information and clarification
- I provide
a variety of resources to escalate your growth
and when necessary, tools to get you unstuck.
- I help you
brainstorm solutions to problems that are
causing you stress.
- I provide
the focus, structure and ongoing support
needed to help you keep constantly moving toward your
goals.
- I celebrate
your successes and hold your hand during
difficult periods.
- I anticipate
obstacles
on the path to your new life, and
help you navigate around them.
- I give you
non-judgmental, objective feedback.
- I act as
a guardian and caretaker for your dreams and
the vision of the life you most want whenever you forget or
feel doubtful.
- I challenge
you to take action
in spite of your fears.

you of your greatness

Individual
coaching
fees range from
$200-
$300 per month, de-
pending upon the
length and the number
of sessions per month.
The usual format of 4
-thirty minute sessions
is $200.

Group coaching
fees range from $80-
$100 per month, de-
pending upon the
topic, the length of the
sessions and the num-
ber of sessions per
month.

Coaching
fees are due at the beginning of each month,
and are payable
by check or by credit card
(via the Internet).
